Magnum photographer David Hurn’s latest exhibition in Wales will present a series of images shot within a 25 mile radius of The Workers Gallery in the Rhondda valley between 1967 to the present day.
Hurn has been a long-time supporter of small independent photography galleries and this exhibition - alongside several related events being announced - presents work made in the local area and will aim to raise funds to support the many important local activities undertaken at The Workers Gallery.
One related event just announced will see a number of local families having the opportunity to have their portrait photographs taken by Hurn for an affordable fundraising fee in a nearby Chapel in the village.
The exhibition opens Thursday 21 November 2019 and runs until 4 January 2020.
Open Wednesday to Saturday 10am-5pm and other times by appointment.
